For some people, shopping can be fun no matter how you do it. For others, shopping is an evil to be avoided at all costs. But no matter how you feel about shopping, if you’re not doing it online, you’re missing out. Here are the top 10 reasons you should be shopping online.

10. You can wear pajamas. Everyone always jokes up shopping in your underwear, but it’s totally true! You don’t have to make yourself presentable for the public, which means you can just roll out of bed and start shopping if you want.

9. No crowds to fight. Instead of pushing and shoving  your way around a mall or store in order to find what you want, you’re free to browse in peace and quiet. And when you’re ready to make  your purchase, there are no lines to stand in!

8. You can search for deals. Instead of running and driving around from store to store, shopping online allows you to hunt for the best deals hassle-free. It’s a lot easier to go back and forth between websites than it is to drive around to different locations (only to discover the best deal really was at that first store).

7. Save gas. Let’s face it, gas is expensive and you might not even live very close to a mall or shopping center. If you want to hit up a few different stores, you could be clocking in lots of miles and thus using lots of gas. Shopping online? All you need is your computer and Internet connection (which you hopefully have already). No miles and no gas necessary!

6. Shop after stores close. And before they open. Are you a night owl? Or like to get things done first thing in the morning? When you shop online, you don’t have to wait for stores to open and you can keep shopping long after they close. In fact, you can shop for 24 hours a day if you please. The Internet never closes!

5. Search for coupon codes. These days, coupons
are much easier to find online than they are in physical form. And when you’re shopping online, you don’t have to carry all those coupons around with you. Decide you want to buy something from one store? Put it in your cart and then search for a coupon code online before making the purchase.

4. You don’t have to bring the kids. It can be such a pain to drag all the kids shopping (if you, in fact, have kids). But with online shopping, there’s no need to take whiny kinds anywhere and no need to call in the babysitter. Your kids can cry and complain all they want and they won’t disturb anyone but you when it comes to online shopping. Plus, pets are allowed.

3. No heavy lifting. When you’re shopping online, you can buy whatever you want and you don’t have to lug it around the rest of the day. In fact, you can order kitchen tables, sofas, televisions, and boxes or rocks if you choose. And they’ll be delivered to your doorstep (or maybe even inside your house, if you’re lucky).

2. Larger selection of sizes. Most of the time, stores have a larger selection of sizes available online. This can be especially helpful for you if you wear pants that are extra-short or long or have a size outside of the general “norm.” In fact, even if you go to the mall, some stores may have to call in and order clothes for you anyway. So, you’re better off shopping from home.

1. You don’t have to use public bathrooms. Probably the best benefit of all to online shopping is that you don’t have to use those grubby mall bathrooms. There’s nothing worse than shopping when you have to go, unless it’s stopping in a public bathroom that hasn’t been cleaned since last week. When you shop online, you can take bathroom breaks in your own clean (hopefully) bathroom. And isn’t that reason enough to do you shopping online?
